8 Days – 7 Nights
DAY 1 – LISBON
- Arrival at Lisbon. Meet your driver and transfer to the hotel in Lisbon.
- Check in at the hotel and rest of the day at leisure.
- Overnight at the hotel in Lisbon.
DAY 2 – LISBON
Lisbon is the country’s first city and is considered one of the oldest capitals in Europe. Discover on foot the old Alfama district, with its winding alleys, narrow streets, colorful houses, and endless stairs. Walk to Praça do Comércio and the downtown area, essential places in the city’s history. Proceed to the historic district of Belém, where we can find many of the most prestigious monuments of the city, including the Jerónimos Monastery and Belém Tower, both good examples of the 16th century’s Manueline style, and finally the Monument to the Discoveries.

DAY 3 – LISBON > SINTRA > CASCAIS > ESTORIL > LISBON
Visit Sintra, a magnificent UNESCO World Heritage site. Discover the charms and history of the town that enchanted kings and poets. Visit to the romantic National Pena Palace. If weather permits, we will then stop at the westernmost point of mainland Europe, Cabo da Roca. On the way to Cascais along the coast, be dazzled by the seascape. Fishing port and tourist center, Cascais is the former summer residence of the Portuguese royal family. In Estoril, place where Ian Fleming got the idea for the James Bond character, we highlight the gardens of one of the largest Casinos in Europe.
- Departure from the hotel towards Sintra.
- Visit Cabo da Roca (weather permitting).

- Return to Lisbon.
- Overnight at the hotel in Lisbon.
DAY 4 – LISBON > EVORA > LISBON
Évora. Capital of the Alentejo, a large region that occupies almost all southern Portugal, from the Atlantic coast to the Andalusian border. We will wander through its welcoming historic center by discovering the city’s monuments, such as the Roman
Temple, the best preserved in the Iberian Peninsula, built in the Augustan period. We will then descend into the bowels of the Church of San Francesco, to visit the Capela dos Ossos, as disturbing as it is interesting, whose walls are dotted with skulls and bones.

- In the morning visit Evora.
- Return to Lisbon.
- Overnight at the hotel in Lisbon.
DAY 5 – LISBON > ÓBIDOS > NAZARÉ > ALCOBAÇA > BATALHA > COIMBRA
Jounrey to Óbidos. Stop at this medieval village surrounded by the walls of its castle and typical for its white limed houses. Continue to Alcobaça, this beautiful city that has the Royal Cistercian Abbey of Santa Maria. Founded in the 12th century, and classified as World Heritage by UNESCO, here are the tombs of the famous lovers, King Pedro I and his murdered mistress, Inês de Castro. Continue to Nazaré, a picturesque and colorful fishing town, the most traditional of Portugal. With a warren of narrow, cobbled lanes running down to a wide, cliff-backed beach, Nazaré is Estremadura’s also most picturesque coastal resort. From the top of Sitio, enjoy spectacular views of the town and the Atlantic Ocean. Nazaré is also famous for its big waves, produced by the natural phenomenon. (We suggest Nazaré for lunch at a local restaurant; not included). Proceed to Batalha to see its Monastery (UNESCO World Heritage), a gothic masterpiece with most finely stained-glass windows. Depart to Coimbra.

- Continue to Nazaré.
- Proceed to Batalha

DAY 6 – COIMBRA > AVEIRO > PORTO
In the morning, meet your guide and visit Coimbra, city of Arts and Letters, one of the oldest university cities in Europe and Portugal. Then walk through the narrow streets to admire the Cathedral (overview). Coimbra, the city of students, so called to host one of the first universities in Europe and the most important of the country. Stroll in the oldest part of Coimbra, made of narrow streets that lead to the top of the hill. Proceed to Aveiro, also known as “the Venice of Portugal”, extensively crossed by canals throughout giving the city an individual character.

- Visit Coimbra.
- Continue to Aveiro.
- Depart to Porto.
- Check in at the hotel.
- Overnight at the hotel in Porto.
DAY 7 – PORTO
Porto is the Capital of the Northern Region of Portugal, and a UNESCO World Heritage site. Everything in this wonderful city makes this trip memorable, from the Cathedral to the Port Wine Cellars, where you’ll get the chance to have a tasting. You’ll also can visit places filled with tradition and culture, and you’ll be given important details about the streets and squares of its historic center.

- Afternoon free for personal activities.

DAY 8 – PORTO
- Breakfast at the hotel and check out.
- Transfer from the hotel to the airport.
